Ameia Mikula-Noble is a versatile artist driven by her passion for storytelling which she expresses through dance and writing. Ameia began her dancing journey at the age of three at The Richmond Academy of Dance in Vancouver, Canada. She furthered her training with summer intensives at Alvin Ailey, Juilliard, ABT, and Hubbard Street. 

 

She furthered her studies at NYU Tisch, where she majored in dance and minored in creative writing. During her time at NYU, Ameia performed works by prominent choreographers such as Andrea Miller and Kyle Abraham, and attended more workshops at Complexions, Orsalina28, B12, and Batsheva. She graduated cum laude and received the Founders Day Award in 2024 and finished her NYU experience with a wonderful performance at Radio City Music Hall. 

 

Ameia’s writing journey began in 2020, when she published her debut novel Thirteen, which is available on Amazon. Since then, she has participated in various writing competitions such as The Masters Review and NYC Midnight. She recently received an Honorable Mention in the NYC Midnight 250-word Microfiction Challenge and Second Place in the first round of the NYC Midnight Short Story Challenge. 

Ameia is currently based in Boston, USA, where she continues to develop her artistic voice while freelancing across the city and training with Boston Dance Theater. Through both dance and writing, she is dedicated to crafting emotionally resonant narratives that connect with and inspire others.
